 Shanghai Gateway Education Corporation (SGEC) is founded in 2020 and is located in Shanghai, working under the administrative supervision of Shanghai Association of Higher Education. The company provides educational and technology-related services for universities and enterprises both in China and internationally. SGEC has long been committed to supporting international higher education, faculty development, graduate employability, overseas study, international student education in China, and multilingual translation services.
In recent years, SGEC has been dedicated to helping Chinese universities in establishing transnational education (TNE) programmes with foreign universities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Its services include university partnership development, programme planning, policy consultation, application coordination, promotion of recruiting students for TNE programmes.
SGEC has established partnerships with nearly one hundred universities in China and more than 10 international universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and South Korea. The company has also served as a national vocational education innovation training base, a Shanghai overseas study training base.
